Cartagena pride! Jazmín Ahumada is heading to Miss Latin America 2026
Cartagena's own Jazmín Ahumada will represent Colombia at Miss Latin America of the World 2026 in Punta Cana.

My beautiful people, Colombian beauty keeps shining on international stages! The gorgeous Cartagena native Jazmín Ahumada Durán, 21 years old, was officially appointed to carry the coveted sash of our national tricolor at the prestigious Miss Latin America of the World 2026 pageant.
The grand event will take place from October 4 to 11 on the beautiful beaches of Punta Cana, in the neighboring Dominican Republic. This tremendous news was dropped through an official statement issued last September 24 from Barranquilla, under the leadership of businesswoman Betty Peláez and William Knight, director of Miss Teen Mundo Colombia.
But look, this queen is not just a pretty face, no sir! Jazmín is super prepared because she is in her sixth semester of Higher Nursing at the University of Cartagena, speaks English, and has a tremendous talent for classical ballet, contemporary dance, and theater.
As if that weren't enough, our compatriot leads a super commendable initiative called 'Voces que Sanan' (Voices that Heal), focused on mental health and emotional support. Plus, to rock it in Dominican lands, she will wear creations by renowned designers like Rafael Palma, Haynner Campbell, María Morena, Xoanna Swimwear, and Edgar Gómez.
