Threads of Identity: The new documentary between DR and Lebanon
Lissette Selman will host the documentary Threads of Identity, directed by José Zeinc and focused on migration.

My people, hold on tight! A film project is coming that promises to touch the hearts of all of us who carry culture in our veins. I'm talking about 'Threads of Identity', a documentary feature film that bridges the paths of the Dominican Republic and Lebanon under the direction of the talented Dominican filmmaker José Zeinc. This big-screen gem, which is already getting ready to start filming between both countries, has an expected duration of 90 minutes and is produced by José Zeinc, Alfred Malek, and Yamil Attias. The story raises a profound question about family and distance, exploring letters, photographs, traditions, and recipes that survive the passage of time and the ocean separating both nations. To add the master touch to this journey, the experienced communicator, journalist, and architect Lissette Selman will be the host and articulating face of the project. With her well-known career and her own Arab heritage, she will guide us through this journey of memory and identity to understand how family ties withstand wars, crises, and kilometers of distance.
