Guatemala takes the crown of Miss América Latina del Mundo 2026 in Punta Cana! 👑
The chapina representative Thelma Gabriela Girón was crowned at the pageant held in the Dominican Republic.

My lovely people, the crown headed to Central America! In a grand gala held on October 10, 2026 at the Taíno Theater of the Occidental Caribe hotel, located in Punta Cana, the gorgeous Thelma Gabriela Girón Recinos claimed the title of Miss América Latina del Mundo 2026.
The new queen, 25 years old, is originally from Guatemala City and stands out for being a bilingual student of Industrial Psychology, a model, and a powerhouse in social work, collaborating with foundations like the Deaf Association and the Margarita Tejada Foundation. With this triumph, her homeland celebrates its fourth crown in the pageant's history, after 14 years without taking home the top prize.
The honor roll of this edition, which brought together 17 delegates, was on fire with Julieta García from USA Latina as first runner-up, followed by Emily Piovesan from Brazil, Constanza Corti from Argentina, and Jazmín Ahumada Diurán from Colombia in the top finalists.
The event, sponsored by Grupo Barceló Hotels & Resorts, closed with a bang after days of intense activities organized on Dominican soil, leaving all of Latin America infected with joy and pride for the talent of their queens.
