Fire in the studio! Jey One swaps dembow for trap in his new EP
Dominican artist Jey One surprises his fans with the release of his new EP titled Algo Nuevo, exploring trap sounds.
My lovely people at Bochinche Latino, we bring you fresh news from the Dominican Republic. The renowned urban artist Jey One has just dropped his new musical project titled Algo Nuevo on all digital platforms, an EP made up of seven songs that promises to get more than one person dancing.
What has everyone talking is that, although this talented Dominican has built a big part of his successful career in dembow —taking his music to the corners of the United States and Spain—, in this production he decides to take a risk and explore heavy trap rhythms.
To put the cherry on top, the main track of this EP is named Nanana and comes with a deluxe collaboration alongside his colleague Yaisel LM. Without a doubt, this union of urban artists in a trap production marks a fresh and different stage in the artist's career.
