¡Covi Quintana hits a home run with a double nomination at the 2026 Latin Grammys! 🇩🇴🎉
The Dominican singer-songwriter celebrates the success of her album "Oye Eta Vaina", with which she conquers the Latin Grammys after betting on merengue and bachata. 🎶

My beautiful people of Bochinche Latino, hold on tight because our Covi Quintana has plenty of reasons to celebrate in a big way. 🎉 The talented Dominican artist has put the Caribbean in her pocket thanks to her seventh studio album titled "Oye Eta Vaina", a project with which she pays high tribute to her roots and the culture of her beautiful land. 🌴
It turns out this album was born out of daring and following a wise piece of advice given to her seven years ago by her remembered mentor, the master Víctor Víctor, who encouraged her to sing bachata. 🎸 After overcoming her fears and with a little push from her producer Ronny Cruz, Covi took the plunge and dared to fuse merengue and bachata, also adding luxury collaborations like a contagious pambiche alongside the Colombian Andrés Cepeda and urban flavor with Chimbala himself. 🔥
And look how life is, the move paid off big time. The album crossed borders and brought her nothing less than two nominations for the 2026 Latin Grammys, where she is competing in the categories of Best Merengue/Bachata Album and Best Singer-Songwriter Song for the track "Temblor y Réplica". 🏆 From Mexico, where she currently resides, the artist declared herself more Dominican than plantain and super honored to represent her homeland alongside colleagues like Manerra, Techy, and Gabriel. 🇩🇴✨
