To the rhythm of jazz! Retro Jazz celebrates 15 years with a tremendous Dominican gala
Pengbian Sang's group will celebrate its career with a concert alongside 30 musicians and special guests.
The renowned group Retro Jazz is getting ready to celebrate its musical journey in grand style. The project led by Pengbian Sang marks a decade and a half reinventing classic tunes from the Quisqueyan songbook through the codes of jazz.
To celebrate this milestone, they will present the show "Retro Jazz 15 años: gala del cancionero dominicano". The stage event will bring together an orchestra of 30 instrumentalists, under the baton of maestro Junior Basurto, accompanied by various guest artists and musicians spanning four generations.
This artistic showcase comes under the slogan "15 años jazzeando el corazón dominicano". Its director and bassist, Pengbian Sang, admitted that this path has been challenging and laborious, yet filled with achievements and joy hand in hand with a loyal audience that has never left their side.
