My lovely bochinche people, look who's making waves on the other side of the world! It's our very own congressman Brailyn Miguel Vargas Núñez, better known as Bray Vargas, who is holding our country's name high in Asian lands.

Turns out the man is turning heads and already has over 79 thousand votes on the official platform, placing himself firmly among the public's top five favorites in this male beauty pageant. Mind you, they clarify that this popular support is a great boost, but it doesn't decide the night's big winner just yet.

To get here, let's remember that back in March he received his official sash as Mister Global Dominican Republic 2026. Since then, our boy has been shining alongside 39 other contestants in all the preliminary activities leading up to the grand finale.

And as proof, the Dominican stunned in a national costume inspired by our General Gregorio Luperón. The outfit featured a blue uniform with golden details, medals, a cape, and even a peaked cap, paying tribute to national history. The grand finale is set for this coming October 10 in Nonthaburi, Thailand, so let's cross our fingers for our representative!
